Daily Verse

Isaiah 55:10-11

"For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it."

Independence Day Celebration SUNDAY Services

  • Community
  • Nation
  • Prayer
  • Revival
Date:
Sunday, July 5, 2009 10:00am

This year on July 5th we will start our

Morning Worship services at 10:am.

and

Community Potluck and Celebration

at 12 noon.

Think of this as a community or 'block party' day, with an interconnectedness to our independance day celebrations, our country and our faith community.

Religious Services for the whole community:

We will  have some music then a short sermon on the issue of prayer.

Then after our time of prayer, we will have more music; then a short sermon on the issue of revival from our Guest Speaker, Ken Varney, whom we are bringing in from the east coast.

(This will be more of a Community Service time as well.)

We will be done before noon, and all the neighborhood is welcome to join us.  There will be a time for private/personal prayer during the services and the church will be open for personal prayer all day till about 4:30 PM -- come and go as you please.  (We are coordinating with the call2fall.com program this year, so many who check the web site will know we are open all day for prayer and personal reflection.)

Visit Call2Fall.com for more information

Community Gathering:

After the AM Service, we will have this GREAT BIG community and church potluck were everybody brings a dish to pass/share.  We can set up after the AM service and eat at 12:30 -1:30 --  whenever we are ready. Our Church kitchen can be used and Berean Bible will provide a punch/koolaid type drink and electricity for crock pots and etc.)  In the afternoon, we are hoping to secure a music group to enjoy, but there will be more on that later.

We hope to see you HERE.
